This recipe certainly calls for premium ingredients. I got lucky as the Burrata Cheese was at a great discount at the supermarket and had to seize the deal. While it may be a pricy dish, it certainly is worth it and extremely easy to make to impress your guests or simply to treat yourself with a Boujee meal for your Friday Night Show Binge! Whatever the reason, this one is worth at least one shot. You can always customise with your topping and dressings. I hear good things about pairing this salad with a Balsamic Vinegar. Give it a try and let me know how it turned out 🙂

Ingredients

  • 3 Medium Sized Tomatoes
  • 1 Burrata Cheese
  • 7-8 Black Olives (You can use any and as many as you like)
  • 5-6 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Keep the burrata cheese out the fridge and bring it to room temperature before you prep for your salad
  2. Slice the tomatoes to your preferred length. I did half slices.
  3. Slice the olives
  4. Tear or Chop the Burrata cheese into pieces
  5. Chop the basil leaves into smaller pieces (optional step. You can keep the leaves whole if you prefer)
  6. Assemble the salad on a plate or dish by evenly layering out the tomatoes, olives and burrata.
  7. Sprinkle the basil leaves on top
  8. Drizzle Olive Oil across the Salad
  9. Add a pinch of salt on it and a dash of pepper or more!
  10. Enjoy your Boujee Burrata Salad!
