The House of Tau Sar Piah, 正庄豆沙饼之家, is a traditional Chinese bakery located at 529 Balestier Road. Our recipe, which has over 26 years history, does not contain pork, lard, butter, eggs and onions. The tau sar piah is suitable for the young and old, vegans and vegetarians, and is Muslim friendly.
This comfort food can be eaten anytime, anywhere and holds many special memories of family and love – appropriate as gifts when visiting relatives and friends. There are 11 regular flavours to choose from (salty, sweet, black sesame, coffee, durian, green tea, lotus, red bean, peanut, pineapple, yam), and 2 made to order flavours (vegetarian char siew and vegetarian floss) : We have special packaging for weddings and other special occasions as well.
