Hi there, my name is Lexi Griswold, and I am a content creator who moved from Portland, Oregon to LA three years ago. While living in LA, I began to delve into content creation and found myself thriving in the city’s bustling creative scene. However, this isn’t the only change I made in my life; I also became a vegan two years ago.

Why Did I Turn Vegan?

You become your best self when you work on things that people can’t take away from you

Alexis Griswold

The environment, my health, and most importantly, the animals are the main reasons why I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle. For years, I had been curious about the vegan lifestyle and what it could offer. I became more aware of the cruel treatment of animals in the food industry and the negative impact animal agriculture has on the environment. Additionally, I was experiencing health issues, and after researching the benefits of a vegan diet, I decided to give it a try. The results were astounding! My mind is clearer, and my body feels fantastic.

I never feel the urge to eat animal products because I find it disturbing. People often refer to being vegan as a diet, but to me, it’s a lifestyle, and my basic morals guide me.

Misconceptions About Veganism

Some misconceptions about veganism are that it’s only for hippie tree huggers or that you need as much protein as you think you do. The truth is, you can get all the protein and nutrients you need from plants.

Alexis Griswold

I believe that veganism is the future of the world, and I am proud to be part of this change. These animals’ lives depend on us to make a difference and make the planet a better place. If you’re considering going vegan, my advice is to take it one step at a time, be patient with yourself, and remember that the benefits are worth it.
