Despite initial skepticism from some family members about the health implications of her choices, Lilla’s remarkable healing and newfound vitality have dispelled any concerns. In fact, witnessing her positive transformation has inspired those around her to embrace her plant-based philosophy.
Driven by a desire to connect with like-minded individuals, Lilla ventured into the world of social media, creating an Instagram account three years ago. This endeavor not only resulted in the formation of a global network of friends but also led her to discover a romantic partner this year, bringing even more joy into her life.
Beyond her personal journey, Lilla is a certified raw plant-based nutritionist, leveraging her expertise to work as an online raw food nutrition coach. Her conviction in the power of a plant-based diet, especially one rich in raw fruits and vegetables, is evident in her mission to help others unlock their best selves.
Tell us more about yourself, please
My name is Lilla, I’m 30 years old raw foodist from Finland. I cut out dairy, eggs and meat from my diet around 5 years ago. I became plant based both for my health and for the animals. The only animal product I use is raw honey. I always buy from a local Finnish farmer I know, and they work very ethically.
None of my family members or closest friends are plant based. Some of the older family members of mine thought plant based diet was going to make me sick. But quite the opposite: I healed my mental issues, constant inflammation and sickness, frequent fever, stomach pain and other stomach problems, horrible breathing difficulties, disturbing arrhythmia, joint and muscle pain, severe skin issues, nausea and dehydration. Really. Since people around me saw me healing and turning so happy and healthy, they haven’t been worrying about the health aspects anymore.
Most of my friends like plant based foods too so if we eat together we make plant based foods. I still had the need to find more like-minded people so I started an Instagram account and searched for friends about 3 years ago. I have found hundreds of new friends around the globe and met many of them. This year I even found a partner! I can’t even really describe how happy I am nowadays. I have a diploma on raw plant based food nutrition and I work as a raw food nutrition coach online. Before I go, I want to share one of my favourite smoothie recipes with you. It is the smoothie in the picture! It contains a bit of blue spirulina, which does not have the typical sea-like taste that green spirulina has.
- 3 bananas
- 2 pears
- 1 tsp of blue spirulina
- ½ tsp of cardamom
- ⅓ cup coconut water
