While Ro strongly believe in the benefits of healthy living, she also thinks that it’s important to enjoy the moments in life and not always be restricting yourself. A life that is too restrictive can lead to feelings of unhappiness and dissatisfaction, and it’s important to have a balance between healthy living and enjoying life. After all, life should be about living and enjoying the moments, not just restricting yourself to a certain lifestyle.

Ro is not a coach who will tell you to stay strict with your calories every second of every day. She works with people who want to better themselves physically AND MENTALLY through healthy living. This means balance.

Hey, I’m Ro! I’m from Hertfordshire, UK and I’m an online coach for vegans! I have been vegan coming up 5 years now, which started as a purely ethical thing (I lived on purely vegan junk food and fake meats haha) but then I started getting into fitness after I went through a sexual assault.

Fitness has changed my life and I’ve spent years researching vegan nutrition to support my fitness journey. It’s now a very health based thing for me, I eat a whole foods diet getting over 110g of protein and getting all my nutrients in every day. But there has been challenges along the way- I always struggled getting my protein in as well as enough carbs and having enough energy. It’s been tricky to find a balance but I feel so much better than I ever did eating meat/being veggie.

My advice to anyone thinking about going vegan is do your research first. So many people go vegan cold turkey without a clue and end up feeling weak and tired.. but they’re not getting any of their nutrients, a huge drop in protein and potentially calories too. Make sure you talk to some health based vegans who can give you a few tips rather than just buying all the fake meats in the shop and hoping it’ll go well for you!
