Please tell us more about yourself

I am from Bulgaria, I live in the United Kingdom for the last 6 years.

Eve

I have been vegan for almost 3 years, I tried vegetarian many times but I never succeeded and always went back to eating meat. Then I watch Cowspiracy, and this made me fully open my eyes, there was no reason to eat meat anymore and there was no excuse to go back to meat ever again.

As a vegan, what challenges do you face when it comes to finding suitable food options or dining out with friends? How do you personally overcome these obstacles?

Salmon by “viv era” with dill fries and salad

I can always get fries, if there is nothing else , when I am out. I don’t pay attention to the challenges, as I realise that soon there would be much more vegan options, as we are growing as a family, in mean time I cook and I cook with passion I never had before in my entire life. I discovered so much new plants and went back to cook things from my country I knew as a child like stinging nettle soup.

She is crying that’s she is going to get slaughtered, and you are the one buying and demanding steak!!

My Ex who have child together eat vegan food when we see each other, that’s not very often, however I can sense this ego and the pressure of his family. His mother said to him once “ I hope you don’t tattoo yourself now, and become vegan, too” 😭

I came to realise that some people like my ex they just need to allow themselves to be open to this change, and to allow themselves would mean that they need to free themselves from their fear of rejection. On the other hand I have friends who are very open minded and we talk about vegan , and I know the transformation starts with them, as soon as they realise all the benefits of vegan.

What are the most prevalent misconceptions about vegans and vegetarians?

About the iron in the blood. When I was told by a nurse I get my iron from the beef, I asked her since cows are vegan , where does she think they get the iron from,if not from the plants , also my iron has always been low, even when I was eating plenty of meat . Sadly from a family farm back home.

Wake up powerful man, and see it’s your ego what kills the planet. Stop this unconsciousness madness

I know that new earth is rising, I feel in peace when I think about all the vegans around the world growing up in numbers. However if you don’t make the change, it’s really sad because that change it’s not only about the environment and the animals. It’s out us, and if people realise that their diet is the key to their health then they would be part of this new earth thats rising. New earth promoting health love and compassion.

If you have a craving in the beginning of your journey , that’s okay don’t go hard on yourself, sometimes i our bodies when we go plant based crave stuff, and that’s okay. Just remember that you are going plant based and you will be your best self soon. Allow yourself to be strong and don’t beat yourself up in you end up holding a pizza slice after clubbing after been plant based for two months, just sober up and continue your plant based journey I can reassure you after 6 months all cravings are gone , after a year you will be like “no way I am eating that pizza“.
