Meghann’s mission is to educate, motivate, and inspire individuals to achieve any health and fitness goal they desire. She has achieved numerous 1st Place awards and is an NPC Nationally Qualified Bikini Athlete.

She’s been a Vegan for approximately 10 years. The moment she began incorporating more Vegan foods into their diet, the benefits became evident, and there was no turning back. She now feel stronger and have significantly more energy.

I’ve been a Vegan for about 10 years. The very moment I started eating more Vegan foods, I instantly started to see the benefits and there was no going back. I feel stronger and have a lot more energy.

At first it was more difficult as there weren’t many Vegan options at restaurants 10 years ago as there are nowadays –

Most of my close friends and family are accepting of my Vegan lifestyle and I actually have converted some of them into trying more plant based / vegan food options!

How do I feel about being a vegan/vegetarian? Absolutely unstoppable! 🙂

How can you encourage someone who isn’t vegan or vegetarian to give plant-based food a try?

Start small and gradually DECREASE animal / dairy foods with Vegan replacements. Try one day a week eating all Vegan meals and then add in another full day. Slow and steady wins the race!

I educate them by explaining that plants have protein and there are plenty of plant protein sources. Myself and many other Vegan athletes and coaches have been successful with out animal protein. We are proof that you can.

Peas, soy, and hemp are a few plant protein sources.

To someone who’s just beginning to go meatless, what is your advice?

Start slow and experiment with different plant-based foods. Once you find meatless alternatives that you like, it will get MUCH easier to stick with and you won’t ever go back to meat.
