Justin’s journey to a vegan lifestyle began four years ago. His transition to veganism was a gradual process, initially experimenting with plant-based options.

However, his commitment took a more profound turn after watching documentaries like “Sea Spiracy” and “Cowspiracy.” Driven by these eye-opening experiences, Justin decided to fully embrace veganism and embark on an activist journey to champion the cause.

My name is Justin I live in Chemainus BC Canada.

I went vegan 4 years ago.
I had been dabbling in plant based option for awhile after watching sea spiracy and cow spiracy I decided to go completely vegan and start my activist journey.

At first I ate a lot of processed vegan food and tried to find things that would replace meat. When I started my fitness journey is when I decide to really dial into my diet and eat only whole foods most of the time.

I have definitely faced a few challenges as Canada doesn’t have alot of plant based options but over the last year I have noticed an increase in the options at the grocery store and restaurants.

I love being vegan and sharing my journey with others. It’s very rewarding to show people how happy and healthy I am on a vegan diet.

For non vegans I try to replicate certain flavours they are used to having with meat with either tofu or veggies.

The biggest misconception is that vegans are unhealthy or weak. My goal of my account is showing people how easy it is to build muscle as a vegan and stay healthy.

For people who are transitioning I recommend getting a coach or meal planner to help transition until they are comfortable making their own vegan diet.

Stay consistent that’s the key there is no quick fix !

I get a lot of people that are very surprised that I am vegan after meeting me. Very shocked because I am able to maintain my muscle mass and grow on my diet. I love telling people how easy and inexpensive my diet is compared to a meat based body builder.

Going vegan was the best decision I have ever made knowing that I am helping the planet and not hurting the animals of our planet to sustain my life.
