幾年前，外國大廠研發了，並陸續的在市場中推出，以環保、對抗全球暖化為號召的，新素肉塊。跟傳統的很不一樣：一來，它們吃來煮來，沒有一種素肉的豆渣味；二來，賣相像極了肉類漢堡，一點不像機器倒模出來的那樣。甚至咬下去，切開的時候，紅紅的醬汁滲透出來，乍看，跟真的肉塊沒兩樣。 跟肉食的朋友出外吃飯，看見我點選 「咕嚕肉」 和 「五柳仙班」（用魚形模具做出來的素食）等香港常見的蔬食飯餐時，總會忍不住把話題帶到 「口齋心不齋」 的話題來。（「齋」 在香港話裡，是素食的意思。這句話，有言行不一之意。）然後，我夾着那塊用豆腐做的 「咕嚕肉」，和用芋頭做的 「仙班」，跟朋友熱論起來。 對呢？為甚麼要吃像極肉食的食品呢？為甚麼市場上在售賣素肉丸和素肉排呢？不只我跟你有這個疑問，連歐洲的農業協會，亦曾經指出素食食品標籤不明，容易令消費者混淆，而就素食食品應否套用 「漢堡」和 「香腸」等肉食食品的名詞，而訴之於議會。最終，歐洲議會否決這個提案。 從純素、蛋奶素到水果素等，蔬食的光譜大得很。同樣地，世界的多元，每每教人驚訝。吃素，不吃素是一種。吃素肉，堅持吃天然的食物，又是一種。不如這樣吧，先放下「口齋心不齋」，回歸蔬食的初心，回想一下，當初願意放棄肉的味道和營養，而走進蔬食世界的心思。然後，進一步，打開耳朵，多聽聽，吃素肉的、吃蛋奶素的、吃純素的，和吃肉朋友的話… … 或許，慢慢地，恬然發現「口齋心不齋」，已經不那麼的重要了。 （照片拍攝：Cindy Cheung Photography Gallery )Read More →
